My animation studio, Double Bounce Productions, based in Kobe, is creating programs that explore sustainability issues through compelling and timely animated adventures. These stories combine fun and engaging situations with educational themes. Biomimicry, how the workings of nature can inspire solutions to real-world problems, is a particular focus.
We believe our programs could be of interest to NHK—particularly for NHK-E and NHK World—and would love the opportunity to talk with you more about collaboration.
We have four projects in development: Zaly, Shu and The resistance, Rulliver, The Way to Cydonia and Bad Ass Chicken We weave issues important to children and families into our stories. These include health and nutrition, friendship, collaboration, creative thinking, and the environment. Plots are often inspired by how we can find solutions to problems by observing nature. Here is more about each.
